Wendler 5/3/1 Program

What's happening, what's up? Not much for us just getting deeper into training. After a 2 month hiatus we decided to keep it very basic & not get too complex. Our base fitness & strength had diminished when traveling through Canada. I think they have some bullshit in their water, although what kept us alive was "Tim Horton's". They are a mixed of a fast-food coffee, pastry & sandwich soup shop. Pretty tasty & impressive for Canadians. Anyway, the Wendler 5/3/1 Program is a 3 week progressive strength program raising the Back Squat, Press, Deadlift & you guessed it Bench Press. Along with some basic assistance work to bring up weaknesses in the lifts. It's very simple percentages off your perceived 1 Rep Max. Week 1 uses 3 sets of 5 reps with the last set a rep out. Week 2 & 3 are the same fashion but 3 reps & the final with a 95% rep out. No frills, no gimmicks just hit your weights for the week & break records. I think it's a good intro strength program for all beginners, as well as anyone trying to get back into the swing of things & BeastMode status.
